南京南师大附属扬子中学

扬子中学是国家级示范高中、江苏省首批四星级高中，曾获得省“教育工作先进集体”“江苏省文明单位”“江苏省平安校园”“江苏省基础教育课程改革先进集体”，南京市市“师德先进群体”“南京市园林式校园”“南京市书香校园创建校”“南京市中小学心理健康教育特色学校”“南京市中小学体育特色学校”“南京市中学足球特色学校”“南京市中小学优秀志愿者联盟学校”“南京市依法治校示范校”等多项荣誉称号。

Yangzi High School, evaluated as National Level Demonstrative High School and Provincial Four-star Level High School, has won many titles of honor such as “Advanced Collective of Education”, “Civilized Unit”, “Safe Campus”, “Advanced Collective of Basic Education Curriculum Reform” of Jiangsu Province. It has also won several honorary titles as “Municipal Teacher Ethics Advanced Collective”, “Garden-style Campus”, “Constructive School of Scholarly Campus”, “Characteristic School of Mental Health Education”, “ Characteristic School of Physical Education”, “Characteristic School of Football Education”, “Excellent Volunteer League School” among all the primary and secondary Schools.

Yangzi High School strictly implements the construction of Five-star schools. With beautiful environment, rational layout and advanced equipment, it has a Career Planning Center, a Psychology Counselling Center and a Provincial Olympic Competition Center. Yangzi High School has 177 faculty members, including 2 special grade teachers, 37 municipal academic leaders, 2 teachers with doctor’s degree, 68 with master’s degree, and 2 members of “333 High-level Culture Project of Jiangsu Province”. The provincial and municipal excellent teachers have accounted for a large proportion.

Yangzi High School has made substantial achievements in teaching. The Undergraduate on-line rate and the overall propulsion rate of College Entrance Examination is among the front rank in the city of Nanjing. It has won the comprehensive award and excellent teaching quality award of developmental evaluation of Nanjing High School Education for 15 years in a row, which are the highest honors of all. It has made brilliant achievements in discipline competitions. Two students won the first prize of the National Olympic Games; 38 won the first prize of the Provincial Olympic Games; 3 have six national utility model patents. The school track and field team has seven first-class athletes and 17 second-class athletes. A large number of students are admitted by famous schools such as Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, Fudan University and Southeast University.
